Zanarkand

Yevon Dome

The governmental seat of power and a temple as well, it is here that Yu Yevon and his council oversees Zanarkand's internal affairs. It is large, richly decorated, and has hidden rooms and chambers. It is often closed off to the public, so nobody is truly aware of what goes on underneath the dome.

Rose-Pier District

A district facing the sea to the east, it is mostly a residential and port district. It is called the "Rose-Pier" due to the color of the rising sun, which has been described to be a fiery-red. It is a scenic locale that is more peaceful and quiet than the interior of the city that never sleeps.

Coliseum

A large Blitzball arena hangs in the water, a fair distance from the city. Most of the city flocks to the coliseum for the many Blitzball games that are held here, often towards the night. It is one of the few sports that invokes such a large crowd of fans, as the coliseum houses hundreds to thousands, and the seats always seem to be filled.

Downtown

A part of town that heads towards the mountain-side, it is a grouping of all sorts of machina industrial, commercial, and residential districts, with roads and highways at various heights and sizes. There are always droves of people walking or driving along these roads, as lights shine brightly up into the night sky. The city that never sleeps is never dark either.
