Jaxe reformed back to his normal form at the entrance to the Third District, uncertain as to why he was tracking down the source of that eerie nothingness. Still, he knew that whatever it was would be a threat, one that perhaps he sought to eliminate. It was unclear what his goals were, but he kept on, his wounds passively healing as he explored the district.

[Jaixe]

The district was empty, devoid of any other heartless or other entities entirely save for himself. This struck him as incredibly odd, given that many of his brothers called this place their hunting grounds. He kept alert as he continued exploring, using morph to move around more quickly.

[Jaixe]

It was at this point that an unknown attacker was stalking him. He didn't know of his existence yet, but the consistent feeling of emptiness, the lack of a heart, did alert him that something was still lingering. He formed back onto one of the rooftops to get a clear view of the area.

[Jaixe]

"Where... is my heart?" Said a voice directly behind Jaxe, surprising him and forcing him to morph out of a defensive instinct. He reformed a distance away and saw the entity that had been stalking him. A white and deformed humanoid entity that seemed to dance in place, barely able to keep its shape. It was unnerving to the eyes, let alone hearing it speak.

[Jaixe]

"Where is my heart?! Where is it, shadow of the hearts?!" It spoke in a desperate, almost depressed tone. It was all threatening to Jaxe, however, and as the Dusk closed the distance between them, he crouched and entered a combative stance, growling at the nobody.

[Jaixe]

After the Dusk had closed the distance between them and set-off Jaxe's defensive instincts, he lunged at the creature, clawing at its skin. However, he saw the creature bend into a horseshoe shape, dodging his attack as it flipped over him and kicked him forward. "Give me my heart!" It yelled as Jaxe recovered, bewildered.

[Jaixe]

Jaxe called out, stamping his foot, as shadows came to his aid. They swarmed the Nobody as Jaxe charged forth again, aiming to claw the white, formless dusk.

The shadows all fell through the nobody, but Jaxe's attack met its mark. Still, the claw marks seemed to regenerate as the nobody counterattacked with a kick, casting Jaxe aside.

[Jaixe]

"I WANT MY HEART!" It screamed towards Jaxe and the other heartless again, shifting and striking at the other heartless and dispelling them with ease. It turned its attention towards Jaxe, who finally recovered and glared at the Nobody. He seemed to have a mixture of primal instinct and emotion he hadn't known before... Fear, was it? "GIVE ME MY HEART!" It screamed again towards Jaxe.

[Jaixe]

Jaxe wanted so desperately to be able to speak, to roar, anything beyond hissing at the Dusk and causing it to attack at him again. Morphing out of the way of the attack, Jaxe appeared behind the Dusk and struck out again, screeching as he did so. Instincts and darker intentions becoming more and more present as he was threatened with obliteration.

[Jaixe]

The dusk morphed underneath the attack, bending backwards and striking at Jaxe as he came forward. Casting the heartless back once more, the dusk went in for a counter attack. "MY HEAAAAART!" It screamed again.

[Jaixe]

I DON'T HAVE A HEART! Jaxe shouted within his mind, the first thought to truly surface in his mind. Jaxe casted a spell at the incoming Dusk, creating an event horizon in its path to intercept and cast the Dusk into twisting, gravitational pulls. Jaxe then created a sphere of energy in his hand and cast it skyward, far above the rooftops.

[Jaixe]

The sphere exploded as the event horizon faded away, allowing the now damaged and withered Dusk to strike at Jaxe again, screeching. Jaxe clawed at it and jumped back as dark energy came raining down on the Nobody, small detonations consuming the white form.

[Jaixe]

I will never have a heart. Jaxe thought again, watching as the Nobody was torn apart by the energy rain and eventually disintegrated away into darkness, withering away under the attack. Jaxe continued watching moments after the rain ceased and the threat was removed.

[Jaixe]

I want more... Jaxe thought, looking up at the sky as power surged around him again, and he morphed into the floor. I will have more... I will have it all. He kept thinking, looking for his next target to destroy.
