There are four available races within the game, each with their own alignment paths and abilities even, and all are unique from the others, allowing for no two characters to be the same at all. The four races are: Keybladers, Regulars, Heartless, and Nobodies.

Keyblader Overview

Keybladers are those chosen by other masters or by the keyblades themselves to guard the realms and worlds within Kingdom Hearts from destruction and chaos. They are the overseers of balance and order, ensuring that the end times do not arrive.

Keybladers, in combat, are well-balanced, very developed fighters that specialize in taking down Heartless. They share the same capabilities as the Regulars, though lack the excessive variety and creativity they have. Being more resilient to magic and physical attacks than the Regulars, they are more susceptible to Light and Dark based magic, depending on their alignment.

The Keyblade, as a magical weapon, is capable of bypassing the normal resiliency that the Heartless have and deal more damage to them. They do not have the same effect towards Regulars or Nobodies, however, and deal only normal physical and magical damage upon impact against those combatants. Keyblades are necessary if one wishes to permanently kill Heartless.

(Keyblader Passives are as follows:
+1 to Endurance
+1 to Magicka Resistance
+1 to One Primary Attribute (Obtained at level 6)
+1 to Swordsmanship (Obtained at level 6))
Note your passives on your character sheet, alongside your combat strengths and weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are NOT directly modified by these passives. They are additions given after the fact. If the strength or weakness listed is not in your list, you may add it and give it the (+1) or (-1). These passives apply only to players.

Here are some examples:
Physical Strength (2) (+1)
Magicka Resistence (+1)
Swordsmanship (4) (-1)

Regulars Overview

Regulars are highly diverse, highly creative fighters that can side with the Light and defend it, or become Villains and side with the Darkness, controlling the mindless hordes of Heartless to do what they desire. Regulars can come in many shapes and sizes, from many different races and types of people and Worlds.

In combat, Regulars do not have a predefined fighting style. It can be noted, though, that they are rather average in their resistances towards all forms of damage, as well as possessing average physical and magicka strength, unless specified. They are not weak to any specific type of magic, unless otherwise stated, and are fairly robust overall.

(Regular passives are as follows:
+1 to Endurance
+1 to Stamina
+1 to One Secondary Attribute (Obtained at level 6)
+1 to One Primary Attribute (Obtained at level 6))
Note your passives on your character sheet, alongside your combat strengths and weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are NOT directly modified by these passives. They are additions given after the fact. If the strength or weakness listed is not in your list, you may add it and give it the (+1) or (-1). These passives apply only to players.

Here are some examples:
Physical Strength (2) (+1)
Magicka Resistence (+1)
Swordsmanship (4) (-1)

Heartless Overview

The Heartless have numbers beyond counting, are ruthless, persistent, and seemingly constant, and never seem to get fully destroyed. It is said that once one Heartless appears, thousands more will soon follow. These beings of shadow and darkness lack hearts, intelligence, or actual power, but more than make up for these in sheer numbers and variety.

In combat, Heartless are resilient to physical and magic attacks unless struck by a Keyblade. They cannot be killed by anything but a Keyblade, but are dispersed for one week in-game. They swarm their targets, and utilize dark-affiliated abilities. They are not, however, weak to Light-Based magic as one would expect. They are not physically strong, until they reach higher levels of power.

Note: If felled by anything other than a Keyblader, players cannot post for the remainder of the day or tomorrow, unless the story was specifically meant for such to occur.

(Heartless Passives are as follows:
+1 to Endurance
+1 to Magicka Resistance
+2 to Stamina
-1 to Keyblade Resistance
-1 to Physical Strength (Removed at level 6)
+1 to One Primary Attribute (Obtained at level 6))
Note your passives on your character sheet, alongside your combat strengths and weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are NOT directly modified by these passives. They are additions given after the fact. If the strength or weakness listed is not in your list, you may add it and give it the (+1) or (-1). These passives apply only to players.

Here are some examples:
Physical Strength (2) (+1)
Magicka Resistence (+1)
Swordsmanship (4) (-1)

Nobody Overview

Nobodies, beings that lack hearts and are formed from a man who lost their hearts to the Heartless. They are the remnants of beings lost to the Shadows, the remaining body and soul. They seem to function similarly as Heartless, though aren't as numerous. They do have a greater potential for obtaining a normal appearance more quickly than the Heartless do.

In combat, Nobodies are very resilient to physical attacks, but are only average when it comes to magic. Physically, they tend to be average, though can vary. Magically, they also tend to be average, but again, can vary. They are robust, having equal powers in magic and physical abilities, and tend to be cold and careful.

Nobodies can be killed by any means, not just a keyblade. However, when a Heartless and its corresponding Nobody are killed, the original being they were born from returns to existence.

[Nobody passives are as follows:
+2 to Endurance
+1 to Stamina
+1 to One Primary Attribute (Obtained at level 6))
Note your passives on your character sheet, alongside your combat strengths and weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are NOT directly modified by these passives. They are additions given after the fact. If the strength or weakness listed is not in your list, you may add it and give it the (+1) or (-1). These passives apply only to players.

Here are some examples:
Physical Strength (2) (+1)
Magicka Resistence (+1)
Swordsmanship (4) (-1)

Race Passives

Each race gives various passive combat strengths boosts and, in the case of the Heartless, deductions. These affect your IN-COMBAT ability. They do NOT directly influence the strengths or weaknesses on your character sheet, and thus do NOT count directly to your total. They DO have to be listed as instructed above.

"Note your passives on your character sheet, alongside your combat strengths and weaknesses. Those strengths and weaknesses are NOT directly modified by these passives. They are additions given after the fact. If the strength or weakness listed is not in your list, you may add it and give it the (+1) or (-1). These passives apply only to players."

These boosts affect your combat strengths and weaknesses, even going as far as breaking past the normal limitations. Meaning, if it boosts a strength already at 5 points, it is therefore increased to 6. In effect, this all serves to make your character more potent in specific areas and thus even more unique than the others.

In instances where it says "+1 to one primary attribute," you are asked to choose between your highest-ranking combat strengths, which make up most, if not all, of the focus of your character's combat style, gets the +1 modification added onto it. Secondary Attributes are obviously not Primary ones, and thus can only be added to combat strengths that are NOT the highest ranking or the main focus of your combat style.
